ANZAC Memorial Chapel of St. Paul Australia is a religious center of the defense community of Canberra. It was built in the year 1966. The architecture resembles Ecclesiastical style of the twentieth century.

Structure of Anzac Memorial Chapel:

The chapel has a radical plan with reminiscent tower, narthex and beautiful

windows and panes. The building consists of two chapels. One of the chapels follows the Protestant and Anglican faith, while the other follows Catholic faith.

The chapel is a brick building with timber, tiles and copper made features. You can enter the chapel through a tower, which has a beautiful cross and spire. The Protestant chapel can accommodate a maximum of 550 people, while the Catholic chapel has seat for about 350 people. Tom Bass is said to have been made the crucifix for the Catholic Chapel.

Birth of ANZAC Memorial Chapel of St. Paul Australia:

The chapel came up as an initiative by the military personnel of Australia, who used to have their prayer service in the college premises. The Royal Military College was then a seat of learning as well as a place for Church services for the military. The college was established in the year 1911 and was shifted to Sydney in the mid nineties.

The Church services were previously held in the classrooms of the Royal Military College. The need for a Chapel came up and Commandant decided to establish one in the year 1958.
