This is mainly because Brazil is a tropical country. 90% of the country is said to be located within the tropical zone. Thus the temperature zones also vary within the country. Brazil has been divided into five climatic zones by the geographers. This include the tropical zone, the equatorial zone, the semi arid zone, the highland tropical zone and the subtropical zone. Normally the average temperature of the country varies between 25 degree Celsius to 40 degree Celsius. In Southern Brazil, the temperatures are quite low in the winters and there are frost conditions as well. The precipitation levels also vary within the country.
Environment is also one of the major parts of the geography of Brazil. This is one of the countries where you will find different types of ecosystem. It is also said that the world's largest biodiversity can be found here. You will also find different types of environmental habitats here and these are also protected. Various rules and regulations have also come up in this respect. The Amazon Rain forest is one of the best example of this. This is one of the countries where you will get the highest number of invertebrates as well as terrestrial vertebrates. Different types of reptiles as well as endangered species are also found here.
