There are,perhaps, no country in the world that has no festival. Each and every country in the world has festivals of their own. Festivals are one of the major aspects of the culture of a country. The long list of the festivals in Canada, that are held in the month of February, are Carnaval de Quebec and Quebec Winter Carnival. In the month of March, there is only one festival that is held in Canada. It is NSI Film Exchange Canadian Film Festival. It is a festival of a completely different taste and culture. The type of people who take part in this festival are also a bit different from those of other typical festivals in Canada. The month of May celebrates the Canadian Tulip Festival in Canada. There are a number of festivals in the month of June. They are Hip Hop 360 - Dance festival, a general Canada Dance Festival, Montreal Fringe Festival, Ottawa Dragon boat race Festival and Ottawa International Jazz festival.

The absolute festive mood prevails in Canada in the month of July. This month is almost full of festivals in Canada. There are three major Canadian festivals in the month of August. These are Colonel By Day, Les Fetes de la Nouvelle France – New France Festival and trout Forest Music festival. The month of September has only one festival in Canada, and, it is Vancouver Fringe Festival. There are no regular festival in Canada in the other months. There is only one festival in Canada, that is celebrated all the year round. The name of this festival is Ottawa International Children's Festival.
