Christmas is celebrated around the world with enthusiasm and vigor, but Christmas celebration at Disney World is different from other parts of the world. Disney World has four theme parks in the world and each one of them offer different flavor in Christmas celebrations.

The Magic Kingdom celebrations

 

The Magic Kingdom is one of the four Disney parks, which organize a huge Christmas party. One of the most important Christmas celebrations in this theme park is the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. This party is an ideal destination for your kids. This party consists of parade, food, fireworks, and treats.

 

This is a ticketed party, for which you have to pay beforehand because the party is what most of the families seek for during their Christmas holidays. Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is one of the major attractions in the party, which takes place on the Christmas Eve. There is also a Tree lighting ceremony in the park. A special fireworks event is also organized. The Castle Dream Lights event mainly concentrates on lights, where all the Disney characters appear at the Cinderella's Castle.

Epcot celebrations

 

Epcot is the home of the major celebrations of Christmas at Disney World. One of the most important Christmas events is the Candelight Processional. This is an annual event where a celebrity storyteller, like Whoopi Goldberg, Isabella Rossellini, and Edward James Olmos comes and tells the story of Christmas with the association and assistance of an orchestra and choir. This event takes place from November 27 to December 30. This is a ticketed event and you have to pay separately for Candlelight Processional Dinner Package for a reserved seat at the American Gardens Theater.

Another Christmas event at Epcot is Holidays Around the World. The events lined up for this grand celebration include Christmas storytelling, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa exhibits, and narrating the significance of Pere Noel in France and la Befana in Italy.

Lights of Winter: This event showcases a magical light exhibition at the World Showcase Plaza in Epcot.

 

IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth: It is a fireworks and laser light exhibition. Although this event takes place around the year, but it reaches to its zenith during this holiday season.

 

Mickey's Tree Lighting Treat: The legendary Disney character, Mickey mouse and his friends light the Christmas tress, which is celebrated as Mickey's Tree Lighting Treat. This event takes place at the World Showcase Plaza.

 

Disney's Hollywood Studios celebrations

 

A grand Christmas party is organized at the Disney's Hollywood Studios. This theme park is the home to Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights. Millions of shining and dazzling lights make its Christmas celebrations unique from the other theme parks. Along with the light show, the famous Disney characters come down to the America Backlot Street. This event takes place everyday from November 10 to January 3. This is a ticketed event.

 

Animal Kingdom celebrations

 

Christmas celebration at Disney World observes various events and programs. The Animal Kingdom, one of the four Disney theme parks, organizes Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade, which starts on November 27 and lasts until January 3.
