Holiday Pops, more commonly known as Boston Pops takes place at the Symphony Hall. The most reputed and well known holiday Christmas music is performed. Faneuil Hall Tree Lighting

 

Come and join the excitement of decorating one of the largest trees in New England. Faneuil Hall Tree Lighting ceremony is one of the main Christmas events in Boston. The place is crowded with carol singers, bell ringers, dance artists, and local music bands. If you are lucky enough, you can catch a glimpse of Santa Claus too. Christmas Stroll at Beacon Hill

 

Christmas celebrations come alive at Beacon Hill, which is famous for its

streets that are lined with gas lanterns. Specialty shops, row houses, and food joints can be found along the streets too.

The main Christmas event at Beacon Hill takes place on Charles Street. The road is closed for traffic and vehicles are not allowed to ply. Carol singers and musicians fill the streets; the houses reflecting Georgian and Federal architecture are decorated with electric lights, and there is a lot of excitement in the air.

If you happen to be in Boston during Christmas, make sure you take a stroll down Beacon Hill. One of the major attractions of this place is the free carriage ride that is drawn by a horse.
