The Liberty Hyde Bailey Conservatory: The Liberty Hyde Bailey Conservatory is a greenhouse having more than 550 species of plants which are divided into two sections. These two sections are namely the Ornament House and Palm House. In the Ornament House, visitors will come across a variety of orchids, gesneriads and cacti. If you visit the Palm House, you will surely come across ferns, palms, legumes, cycads and bromeliads.
Buttermilk Falls State Park: The name Buttermilk Falls State Park was given because Buttermilk Creek gushes down the valley to Cayuga Lake. In this park, travelers can enjoy hiking trail and other recreational facilities which are spread throughout the park. Picnic areas and camping facilities are also some of the other major attractions of this park.
Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art: The Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art contains a permanent collection which includes European, Asian, African and American pieces, photographs, drawings and paintings. The museum also hosts some temporary exhibitions.

Eve's Cidery: Eve's Cidery is a small orchard and cidery. It is located in the hills of the Finger Lakes region of New York State where glacial soils rich in minerals, the extreme summers and the autumn nights blend together to produce extremely tasty fruits.
How To Reach Ithaca
- By Bus: You can reach Ithaca by Shortline as well as Greyhound carriers.
- By Train: The closest Amtrak station is in Syracuse, which is situated nearly 50 miles north of Ithaca. The Ithaca/Syracuse Airport Limousine provides transportation between Cornell and the Amtrak station.
- By Air: Ithaca is mainly served by two airports, namely Syracuse Airport, located approximately 50 miles north of Ithaca, and Tompkins County Airport in Ithaca.
