Spread over an area of about 85 square kilometers in the Aegean Sea, Mykonos island is part of the group of Cyclades islands of Greece. Like the other Cyclades islands, Mykonos island has hot summers from April to August and mild winter with low rainfall.

Since Delos island is in close proximity to the Mykonos island, one can make a day long trip there. There are the gigantic windmills standing on a hill from where one can get a panoramic view of the entire Mykonos town.

Little Venice, a picturesque place dotted with beautiful edifices and gorgeous old houses, is said to be the most romantic place in the whole Mykonos island. The area stretches from the Alevkantra beach till the peripheral areas of Kastro.
