Halloween is a much-celebrated occasion in the U.S.A that is observed on October 31 and is referred to by the names of ‘All Hallow’s eve’. The celebration that is believed to have its origin in the Celtic festivals of ‘Samhain’has presently become a secular festival celebrated all over the world. Halloween in USA is marked by celebrating the age-old traditions and customs that dates back to ancient times and has almost become the face of Halloween. The celebration holds equal fun for both the adults and the kids as it is a celebration of fun and entertainment. Halloween celebration in USA is largely generalized by observing some Halloween activities like, ‘trick or treat’, throwing a Halloween party based on a gothic feel, carving jack o’lanterns, going for ghost tours, apple bobbing, and watching horror movies. The celebration or Halloween party is also based on a Halloween theme and generally, invitees and the hosts are seen in costumes reflecting the Halloween traditions.
