The bank holidays in US, are also known as the federal holidays. Here is the list of 2010 Federal Holidays. According to Federal law (5 U.S.C. 6103) when a holiday falls on a saturday, it is observed on Friday,and when it falls on a Sunnday, it is observed on Monday.
