On the other hand, Teotihuacan ruins of Mexico is famous for the Sun and the Moon pyramids and the Avenue of the Dead. It is the largest known pre-Columbian city. It is a huge historical site and covers an area of about 19 square miles. It contains some of the largest pyramids of the world. The temple of the Feathered Serpent is another well known structure of the Teotihuacan ruins. The Avenue of the Dead is 2.5 km in length and divides the city into two halves. The Pyraimd of the Sun is nearly 205 feet in height and 705 feet in base. The temple of the Feathered Serpent has many graves and the graves contain jewelry and artifacts. There is also a museum in this site.
