Table Mountain National ParkTable Mountain National Park is one of the preferred holiday destinations in Cape Town which is preferred by all adventure lovers. This park was previously known as Cape Peninsula National Park, which aims at protecting the rare type of fynbos vegetation.
Within the park there are two major attractions which are the Table Mountain and the Cape of Good Hope. You can have a breath taking view of the natural surrounding as it is located atop a hill. You can also see different variety of flora including certain rare species. Proteas, Restios, Ericas etc are few such rare species which can find here.
Another major attraction of this national park is the presence of predators and several other animals including mammals. You can still find some of the small mammal species even though the large predators have disappeared. Some of the smaller animals are rock hyrax, caracal, Cape Grysbok etc.
PlanetariumDuring trip to Cape Town, you cannot miss the opportunity of dropping in at the Planetarium. Visiting this place will surely give you a different feel, as you can come to know about the stars, constellations, and about the galaxy. You can also see different stars, by sitting at the cushion chairs or watch a film in the night sky which is being projected on the dome shaped roof of the planetarium. Hout BayHout Bay is one of the other famous holiday destinations in Cape Town, which you can visit during your trip. It has a lot to offer to tourists as it is one of the most cosmopolitan places.
