The most popular and spectacular mountain range for climbers in this region is the Sierra Nevada. The peak, Mulhacen is the highest peak in the Iberian peninsular and is about 3.482 meters in height. Andalucia is one giant cross-country paradise and country bikers can feast themselves on tract as testing or as comfortable as they want it to be. It can be a captivating and repaying way to experience some parts of the Andalusian countryside, which remain inaccessible either by vehicle or on foot, for one reason or another. The most popular of the sports take place in the fiesta of San Isidro in Madrid.
