- Swiss National Park: The Swiss National Park is situated in the east part of the Switzerland which is between the Schanf, Zernez, Scuol and the Fuorn Pass in the Engadin valley. according to certain sources we avail this information that up to 2004 this place is the only National Park in Switzerland but definitely the Government of this place has plan to create more national parks of its kind.
This Swiss National Park covers an area of almost 174.2 km² and it is quite interesting to know that this is the largest protected area of the country. It was founded on 1 August 1914and is recognized among the tourists as well as the environmentalists from all over the world as one of the earliest national parks in Europe.
Within the premises of this park no civilian is not allowed to leave the road or to make fire or to sleep outside the Chamanna Cluozza which is the mountain hut and is located in the park. It is also strictly prevented from disturbing the animals or the plants, or to take home anything found in the park.
- Espace Pierre-de-Coubertin: Surrounding the Marina, the vaste area of Espace Pierre-de-Coubertin is great for both the active and non active person. Within the
premises of this park the enthusiastic people can keep themselves entertained by various activities such as the cycling, rollerblading, riding scooters, hiring pedal boats and waterskiing. There are also ample opportunities for the children too who can bemuse themselves with the laps of nature by paddling in the fountains, climb on the adventure tower and indulging in various types of sporting activities.
- Parc de Beaulieu et Serres de la Ville de Geneve: Parc de Beaulieu et Serres de la Ville de Geneve is a large and vast area which is totally submitted to the to growing plants and this growing is encouraged in both ways which are under glass and in the open earth. There are other instances of the natural beauties which are the magnificent Lebanese cedars and there are also beautiful line of chestnuts which are leading to the house and the several types of bushes which are trimmed in the conical French style. This park is actually belonging to the de Sellon family in the 18th century and history of this place includes the property which has shifted hands on several occasions before being bought by Geneva City in 1939. The most remarkable of the historical incidents is the stay of great French emperor Napoleon in May 1880 when he started taking preparation for the Italian Campaign.
