Merry Christmas, Seasons' Greetings and Happy Holiday. Yup, it is Christmas time. Time for gaiety, a time of joy and solemn remembrance. It is also a time to holiday. Your boss is also happy and your secretary is no longer snapping at you. You have ironed out most things, made all the arrangements. You and your family have been so busy debating and going around in circles that you are wide open to an ambush from your family. Well, well, you need help and we are at hand to bail you out. After all Christmas is all about the spirit right! ( though you may consider gifting us a vacation too? )

First suggestion is let us check first things first. Firstly, the shopping for clothes, toys games and home provisions is through. Your spouse is ready on the home front ( no gender bias, check). You will be at the Church in time for the midnight Mass, so will your dear children (excuse us couples), the children are all ready to snowboard and whatever the night long.

Yeah, you will also be in time for the morning Mass. And then, the presents, the eats and the celebrations and the fun and the grand turkey dinner. Hey, are you ready with that Christmas Vacation in USA for your family?

No?, let us bail you out. Disney World at Orlando in Florida, will the children like it or they will say Oh no! Yet again? The sweets have got bigger you tell them. The Florida beaches. A driving vacation to California and the Wine Country and the Napa Valley for hot air ballooning? Well let us not shoot in the dark!

Tell your family you have got a dream vacation ready for them...with the only condition that it has to be close to home. Be firm even if it saddens them 'cause you all would not want to rush through your Christmas vacation, would you? Second is you tell them that can now decide but it will have to be in unison with a resounding YES! Then you leave them to it to fight, debate, finally talk and decide.

Believe us, you will get the vacation you will like to. After they are through talking, they will remember you too and the exercise begun again will be fruitful. Don't impose ant other conditions. You could be flying there or driving there. Travel light as far as possible. Carry lots of eats and drinks. Food can be costly. Book your hotels and flights. Don't leave it till the last minute...even if it cost subtantially more...you would want them to look forward and yearn for the occasion right?
