Korea follows unique custom of giving chocolates or candies to the ladies on the Valentine’s Day. Men wrap chocolates and candies as gifts and give these to their lady love on the Valentine’s Day. On this day, many men even confess their love to their sweethearts and also propose them for marriage.
Men on the other hand are showered with gifts and candies just after a month on 14th of March. This day is also known as ‘White Day’. Singles on the other hand celebrate ‘Black Day’on 14th of April. They spend the day eating Jajang noodles, which are black in color. Valentine’s Day celebrated on the 14th of February is followed by these two traditional celebrations in the following month.
